The Bright White Snowdrop flowers work wonderfully with the Vibrant Yellow blooms of these aconites to brighten up any garden in the winter months. You will receive 50 Single Snowdrop Bulbs & 50 Aconite Hyemalis Corms.
Snowdrops prefer a moisture retentive, humus rich, woodland type soil. The site should be well drained, cool and shady, but it shouldn’t dry out in summer. Most soils benefit from the incorporation before planting of a good quantity of well decomposed leaf mould or leaf litter.
Plant bulbs approx. 6cm deep in small clumps of 6 - 12. When the clumps become dense, lift and separate after flowering whilst still in leaf. Grows to approximately 15cm. Flowers between January and March.
Aconites prefer a light, woodland type soil. The site should be well-drained, cool and in partial shade. They first appear here and there in the sunniest spots, sometimes at the turn of the year, but soon become a carpet of pure golden yellow as the snowdrops begin to bloom.
